Mino's Anniversary Gift Part 1

This quest is simple, but requires a bit of chasing around. =) Keep in mind the following: 1) You should bring along at least 8k, for travel and purchasing the items needed, and a little extra. 2) You need to have done Harry Holterz quest first, to get to Puuhonua Isle, where this quest starts.

  1. Talk to Mino, he lives on Puuhonua Isle. He wants an anniversary gift for his wife. He wants you to pick up the plants he ordered from Helena, in Treeton's flower shop. She will give you the plants for $1000. Then talk to Arthur Temperton (Appleton's blacksmith) about the trellises. He will need 50 chunks of iron ore, and $1500. I was lucky and got all 50 pieces from Appleton's rock shop. The main places you want to look at for the ore are: Earton Rock Shop, Appleton Rock shop, and Rock Isle rock shop. (see my website for isle directions)
  2. Head back to Mino. Give him the stuff, then talk to him again. He needs manure. Talk to him yet again, and ask where to find it. Go to Shellton barb, and ask Harry about it. Mr. Holtzerz will give you 3 bags
  3. Go back to Mino, and give him the manure. Then say you think you have everything he needed.

Spister Mooner's Coconuts

This is a simple to understand quest. You will need 15 coconuts, which is the only difficult part.

  1. Talk to Spister Mooner. He lives outside Carrotton. See the picture below for his location (he's the red star).
  2. He will need 15 coconuts to lure his horse back. You can buy or find them. If you want to save a little money, you can walk near palm trees and hope to find some coconuts. Otherwise, you can find them in Food and town General Stores.
  3. Once you have all 15 coconuts, go and give them to Spister. Then he'll give you your reward. =)

Rewards: $3000 and 25 Quest Points

Staebulman's Homemade Feed

This is a decent quest. It does require a large amount of hay (40 bales to be exact) along with 20 ferns and 20 dandelions. Follow the steps below to safely get through this quest. =)

  1. Talk to Dwight Staebulman, owner of the Carrotton livery. Ask him if the barn is new, he will say ys. Ask him if there is anything you can get to help out.
  2. He needs 40 plain haybales. This is the hardest part. 40 bales will take a while to gather, but gathering hay with a pitchfork will save you a very large amount of money. On the other hand, you can buy 40 bales and get through the quest quickly, but not get as much of a profit from the reward. I deeply suggest buying a pitchfork for $500 from Earton's general store. And maybe ask some friends to help gather some with you, so you won't have to gather all 40 by yourself. Something I do for other little things I need (such as tack supplies) is hire people to run the errands for me, or get supplies. I pay different amounts for each job, but for this I'd suggest 2k or so, for gathering all 40 of the bales.
  3. Once you have the bales, give them to Dwight. He will pay you $5,500 for them. 5.5k is a 5k profit if you buy a pitchfork.
  4. Talk to Dwight again. Ask if there's anything else you can get. He needs 20 ferns, and 20 dandelions. You can find a lot of ferns in Treeton's Flower Shop, and an unlimited supply in Shellton's flower shop. You can find dandelions on the grass, same goes for ferns. =)
  5. When you have the 20 ferns and 20 dandelions, give them to Dwight.
Rewards: $7500, 5 Homemade Haybales, 100 Quest Points

Sumiko's Buckets

Follow the steps below to complete this quest! =)

  1. Talk to Sumiko Stallman, owner of the Appleton livery. She's starting a handicapped riding program. She needs four stable buckets, and four feed bins.
  2. Talk to Harry Holterz (Shellton's barn owner). I suggest walking over to Hoof Isle, then taking Hoof's docks up to Shellton. It saves time and money. He will sell you two tubs for $100 each, or a total of $200.
  3. Now talk to Dwight Staebulman, who owns and manages Carrotton's barn. He'll give you one bucket and one bin for free!
  4. Then head to Anna Hayward, at Wington's barn. She happily donates three (yes, I did say three!) buckets, for free!
  5. Talk to Donna Hayes, owner of Crystalton's livery. She'll sell you a feed tub for $150.

  2. Oliver will give you 5 bags for $900. Head back to Temperance once you have that.
  3. Temperance sends you to her sister, Trina, on Mare Isle (Trina's private island!). Give Trina the oats.
You can take the dock to the nearest Horse Isle coast (Map it for the exact location). It will only cost you $25. If you have a ranch, you can "poof" to it for free.

Rewards: $5000 and 75 Quest Points

The Search for the Wacky Tubemen

This is a fairly simple quest... Follow the steps below, and use the pic below for a reference if you get lost. =o) You need to have done the quest at Tail Isle's general store (in Tail End) before starting this quest! You will need to be able to get to Puuhonua Isle!

  1. Talk to Rodney, the wandering salesman. The is to the right/east of the wagon of Hoof Isle. He has lost his boss's Wacky Tubemen! Agree to go get them, then continue on to step two!
  2. The first one is in the palm trees just north of Rodney. Look at the picture below (labeled Wacky Red Tubeman I think) where I am facing some palm trees. When you are in that position, use your binoculars. You found the tubeman! Go and take it back to Rodney!
  3. Talk to Rodney again... He thinks the green one went across the ocean, and probably to Puuhonua Isle. To get to Puuhonua, talk to the owner of the general store in Tail End (only town on Tail Isle). He "poofs" you to Puuhonua.
  4. Talk to Lelu. She says that it went east, near the palm trees. Stand like I am below (in the picture labeled Green Wacky Tubeman), then use your binos. Then head back to Rodney and give it to him.
  5. Rodney tells you that the blue one went north to the "bigger isle" (which is Turtle Isle). Talk to the barn owner. He tells you that it went behind the barn. Exit the barn and stand on the right ---> side of the barn, and use your binoculars. Then take it back to Rodney!
  6. Now he needs the pink one. It's under the mudhole (under the willow tree east of Rodney; go North from the inn and store). But when you reach down to pick it up, it flies into the mud! You must sacrifice a horse's grooming and step in the mud, then use your binos. Take the muddy pink tubeman back to Rodney.

  2. Signe needs a birthday gift for her twin sister. She wants to get Svea a red dress.
  3. Signe gives you $2,500 for the dress. She tells you to see Stella Styles at Rachel's Boutique, in Shellton.

  3. Enter the small little "forest" and go directly to the furthest "wall" of flowers/trees. Face the only pink flower (pink with four petals) on that row of trees. Use your shovel while facing that. You found a bone!
  4. Wander around that little clearing. When you find Tooker, talk to him and give him the bone.
  5. Once you've given Tookers his bone, head back to Thorne. Tell him the good news.
Reward: $5000 and 50 Quest Points

Trigger's Tack

This quest is titled "Advanced" but it is actually pretty easy if you know where you're going! As always, I wrote down each step on a piece of paper. I also took screenshots of each location, except one. The image is large, but I didn't want to have three document saved to my computer.

  1. Talk to Trigger. If you don't know where he is, look at the image below. He is near the Pony Express.
  2. Trigger has lost his rodeo tack! He wants you to get his saddle pad first. He says it should be in Flipperton, or somewhere near it. Talk to Waverly (second house on the top road of Flipperton). He says that Trigger camped in Blowhole Forest, which is north of town. See the picture below for the saddle pad's location. When you're standing there, use your magnyfing glass, and you've found his saddle pad!
  3. Head back to Trigger, and give him the saddle pad. He pays you $2,000 for it. He also says that the bridle should be in Wington, and that you should ask the residents. Go to Wington, and talk to Iris Pettel, in the flower shop. She tells you to talk to Daf, who lives in the little cabin with a flower garden next to it. She gives you the bridle!
  4. Go back to Trigger, and give him the bridle. Talk to him some more, and he tells you his saddle is underneath a willow tree on Hoof Isle. Look at the picture below to see the correct position. When you're standing like I am in the picture, use your binoculars... You've found the saddle!
  5. Go back to Trigger, and give him his saddle.
Reward: $7000, 300 Quest Points, plus the $5000 for bridle and saddle pad.

This quest is extremely easy! It starts with Tulippe, of Flower Isle. The numbered list/bullet list below is what I wrote down when I did this quest....

  3. When you have the 10 bunches of wildflowers, give them to Tulippe.
Reward: $1000 and 25 Quest Points

Veronica's Balloon Animals

This is a simple quest. It took me about 8 minutes, as I made a mistake in travel. The numbered steps below are what I wrote down while doing this quest.

  1. Talk to Veronica. She lives in the long cabin in Shellton, right underneath the Blacksmith's shop. She needs three balloon animals for her kids. She tells you that a guy on the east side of Appleton whose name starts with "R" makes them. This is Rueben the clown. Make sure that you say "Okay, I'll do that!" before going to Rueben. If you have "accepted" this errand, you will be able to tell Rueben about Veronica and her kids, and the balloons needed. IF YOU DO NOT SEE THIS MESSAGE, DO NOT have him make the balloons, they will not count!
  2. Rueben lives in the top right cabin in the small "neighborhood" in Appleton (east of the racing arena). He makes balloon animals for $15 each. But if you told Veronica you'd get the balloons for her, you will be able to tell that to Rueben. He will make you three for only $35. Once you have the three balloons, head back to Veronica.
  3. She pays you the reward for doing the quest, but you ask for some money to pay back the $35. She gives you $50 more.

Whystan's Building Blocks

This is a very....interesting quest. It starts with Whystan, who lives in the large hut in the jungle section of Tropicton. He wants some building blocks for his grandkids. Now this quest requires a bit of travelling. So make sure you have a large sum of money before you set out on this quest! I also suggest writing down the steps below, and just checking them off as you go. =)

Whystan needs a set of building blocks for his grandkids. This is what he will need (I suggest you write this down):
  • 50 blocks
  • 2 large windows
  • 6 small windows
  • 2 front doors
  • 2 back doors
  • 6 roof pieces
As I was doing this quest, I wrote down everything that I did. Here is what I wrote:

  1. Talk to Vern, in Tropicton. He lives in the wagon closest to the jungle section of Tropicton.
  2. He sends you to Cecil Shuteye, the Treeton Inkeeper. Cecil needs some stuff to get the bricks together. He needs 1 Ebony Log, and 5 normal logs, and some money.
  3. Talk to Nicolette in Chillton for the windows. To get there, take Earton docks to Snow Isle. Nicolette lives in one of the cabins. It will say the cabin is empty, but she is right beneath her cabin. She will charge you $500 for the windows. You won't need to get anything.
  4. Talk to Grey Slate (owner of the Carrotton rock shop, on Hare Isle). He sends you to Earl Bronze, the blacksmith of Shellton.
  5. Earl Bronze will need $500, 10 chunks of iron ore, and 1 honeycomb for the doors/metal parts. There is a bees nest in the forest underneath Shellton; Shell Forest I think. When you have those, go back to Mr. Bronze. He'll give you the doors.
  6. When you have the doors, head back to Whystan. He'll find that you have the doors (probably from Cecil) already. You've completed the quest!
Rewards: $8000 and 200 Quest Points

Wington Tack in Shambles

This is quite an easy quest. You get a very nice reward, and you only spend about $1,000. It starts with Tessa in her tack shop located in Wington. She has three errands for you to run. I'll walk you through each one. =)

The first one she gives you requires some travel. Tessa needs three pails of pitch from Karl in Whiskerton; who lives in the only big cabin. However, he'll need some pails! He sends you to Dalia, the shop owner. She gives you the pails, you head back to Karl, he you gives you the pitch. Go straight back to Tessa, and give her the pitch. She pays you $2000. To continue this quest, talk to her again.

The second task is a tiny bit harder. You need 10 logs. You can find or buy these. I was lucky, and had 11 on hand when I got to this one. When you have the logs, go to Rebecca in Carrotton. She lives in the only cabin on the main/middle road. She charges $100 per log. When you have the 10 planks, head back to Tessa. Talk to her again for the third, and final, errand.

This is the final errand, and it is the simplest! Tessa needs a bucket of nails to get the planks up. She sends you to Liam, Wington's blacksmith. He's just above the bank. Talk to him, and he gladly gives you a bucket of nails. Head back to Tessa, and give her the nails.

Rewards: $10000 and 250 QP.

Witherton Jones and the Statues of the Tumetai

This is actually a fairly simple quest, if you have a good guide! You might want to ask on global for someone to show you the way. The jungle is pretty much a big maze. It might help if you have a telescope, to plan ahead.

This quest starts with Witherton Jones, who lives in the top right hut. He doesn't live in the main part of Tropicton, but he lives in the jungle part. Head to the forest south of Tropicton, and find a way in. Then work your way to the sandy part of ground on the map. Once you are there, head into any of the cabins. Talk to the person, and agree to answer the questions... They will ask you three questions: What gem, What animal, What element. Here are the answers to all of them:

  • Azmaguru: Gold, Tarantula, Spirit
  • Guma-Guma: Emerald, Anaconda, Fire
  • Texcatlypoca: Amethys, Sloth, Earth
  • Engolo-mbe: Silver, Gorilla, Water
  • Suhai: Topaz, Egg, Air
Then head straight back to Witherton Jones! He still doesn't know what statue is the true statue. The true statue is the Gorilla. You want to try and figure it out yourself? Here's how I got it: Mr. Jones says that you get a direction from the first letter of each un-true animal word. The letters you have are T, E, A, S, and G. Write those down and look at them... You can spell EAST with all but G. Therefore, Gorilla (G) is the true statue!

Congratulations! You just did a tricky quest!

Rewards: $25000 and 400 quest points
